Paralia is a Cosmopolitan beach stretching for many kilometres, with clean sand and shallow sea. It has been awarded the European Blue Flag for many years. Wide and sandy, it attracts a great number of tourists every summer.
From here you can gaze at the imposing sight of Mount Olympus and at Pieria, the Mountain of the Muses of Pieria. Paralia is also a good starting point to visit all the sights of the hinterland of the county. There is a harbour where you can yachts and small craft can moor.

Situated just 8 kms from Katerini, it is easily reached from The National Motorway E75 (Junctions: Katerini or Korinos) and from the recently completed coastal road from Olympic Beach (Katerinoskala) to Nea Agathoupoli. It is also served by the railway from Salonika to Athens (Station: Katerini).
